Chất hấp thụ tia cực tím UV-1164 được sử dụng làm chất ổn định ánh sáng, thích hợp cho polyoxymethylene, polyamide, polycarbonate, polyethylene, polyetheramine, nhựa ABS và polymethyl methacrylate, v.v. Đặc biệt thích hợp cho nylon và nhựa kỹ thuật. Liều lượng khuyến nghị: polyethylene 0,2-0,4%; polycarbonate 0,15-0,3%; nhựa ABS 0,3-0,5%.
